Danielle DelMonte
Owner & Founder
Danielle DelMonte’s academic and professional background in both marketing and counseling make her an expert in helping students in all areas of educational and professional development. One of the only consultants of her kind in Western New York, Danielle knows how to help students effectively brand themselves to colleges and employers both in person and online. Most importantly, she has a deep understanding of the barriers millennials often face when transitioning from high school to college, and college to career. Incorporating both traditional counseling methods and modern-day marketing strategies, Danielle implements tailored counseling programs to help students successfully overcome challenges often faced in the college admissions process and obtaining employment opportunities.
Danielle graduated from Canisius College in 2012 with a B.A. in communication studies. From there, she earned her M.S. in public relations from the world-renowned Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She has also received training in the college admissions process by UCLA's top tiered extension program.
During and after graduating from college, Danielle successfully held a variety of part-time jobs and internships the fields of sales, marketing and communications. She currently works as an account manager at e3communications, a public relations agency in Buffalo, where she specializes in the reputation development and public management of a variety of clients.
Through her years in the workforce, Danielle began applying her communications and marketing-based skill set to helping students achieve their personal and professional goals. Developing a strong interest in the college admissions process, Danielle began assisting students with everything from strategic college and standardized test planning to college essays and resumes. In 2014, she started PrepStart Consulting LLC.
